  Deep within the labyrinthine tunnels of the Faceworm's Nest, an ancient menace stirs. Once thought to be merely a myth whispered among adventurers, the Faceworms have emerged, seeking vengeance on those who dare to invade their territory. Legends speak of the treasures hidden within the nest, guarded fiercely by these grotesque creatures. As a brave adventurer, your mission is to delve into the depths of this ominous lair, confront the horrors that lie within, and uncover the secrets buried beneath the earth. Gather your party, for only together can you hope to survive the treacherous challenges that await. Will you rise to the occasion and emerge victorious, or will you become another victim of the Faceworms?

Faceworm's Nest Walkthrough

The Faceworm's Nest is divided into five distinct sections. In each part, defeating the boss will cause a treasure chest to appear, dropping the coveted Giant Faceworm Skin.

Entering the Instance:
🐾 Upon entering, head south to speak with Chaos and Iris. This will trigger the appearance of Faceworms, along with other monsters that can be ignored.
🐾 Eliminate all Faceworms. A Dark Faceworm will spawn in the southeast area of the map. Note that Faceworm Eggs nearby will continuously cast Heal on it, so it's advisable to take them out first.
🐾 After defeating the Dark Faceworm, a treasure chest will appear containing the Giant Faceworm Skin, allowing your party to proceed.

Second Section:
🐾 Speak to Iris and Chaos again, and Faceworms will spawn once more.
🐾 Mounds will emerge around the map, spawning Faceworm Larvas when touched. These can be skipped.
🐾 You’ll encounter another boss fight similar to the previous section, after which a new portal will open in the south.

Third Section:
🐾 Poison traps will be scattered throughout the area. It's crucial to eliminate them quickly, as multiple sacks can inflict significant damage.
🐾 Move north and defeat all Faceworms. This time, the Dark Faceworm will not have healing eggs but will be accompanied by damaging poison traps.

Fourth Section:
🐾 The next area introduces stronger poison clouds. These are more powerful than previous traps, so it's best to avoid them or use Kyrie Eleison to mitigate the damage.
🐾 The fourth boss will combine both healing eggs and poison clouds. Defeat this boss to progress.

Final Section:
🐾 After speaking with Iris and Chaos again, the Faceworm Queen will spawn.
🐾 The Queen's HP is dynamic, calculated as 28 million plus 2 million for each party member. Her notable spells include Earthquake, Storm Gust, and Water Ball, and she can switch elements between Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth. An announcement will indicate her element change.
🐾 The Queen is supported in battle by all three types of adds: healing eggs, poison traps, and poison clouds.
🐾 Upon defeating the Faceworm Queen, the fifth treasure chest will appear, containing two Giant Faceworm Skins.
