Introduction

  Bangungot’s Instance is one of the three instances found in Port Malaya, offering a distinct MVP fight with multiple phases and mechanics. This dungeon requires strategy and coordination, making it a fun and challenging experience.

Requirements

🐾 Base Level: 100 or higher recommended.
🐾 Party Requirement: Must be in a party of 2 or more players.

Accessing the Instance

🐾 Use the Instance Warper NPC: Navigate to Instances > Bangungot Hospital.
🐾 Once inside the instance area, talk to Doktor Bangungot located in Port Malaya to start the instance.

Initial Phase

🐾 Upon entering the instance, players will find themselves in a hospital-themed area. The MVP fight is unique in that it consists of multiple phases that players must complete to progress further into the dungeon.

Boss Mechanics

MVP: Bangungot
🐾 The MVP Bangungot is encountered after completing specific phases, each of which adds a layer of difficulty and strategy to the battle.

Phase 1: Gathering Materials
🐾 Players must gather certain items or materials to proceed. These items are scattered around the instance area and will allow you to weaken Bangungot before the fight.
🐾 Tip: Be quick and efficient with your collection to save time.

Phase 2: Bangungot Awakens
🐾 After gathering the required materials, the real battle begins.
🐾 Watch for the following skills:

  ● Sleep Spell: Puts players to sleep, rendering them vulnerable. Bring items to counter sleep or have your healer prepared.
  ● Curse of Bangungot: Reduces stats temporarily. Dispel it as quickly as possible or prepare buffs to counter the debuff.

Phase 3: Final Showdown
🐾 As the fight progresses, Bangungot will begin using more devastating attacks. Earthquake and Area of Effect (AoE) skills can wipe out unprepared parties.
🐾 Key Tip: Spread out your party to minimize damage and have a well-coordinated healing plan.

Bangungot’s Spirit
🐾 During the fight, Bangungot's Spirit may appear, enhancing the MVP’s attacks.
🐾 Defeat the spirit as soon as it spawns to reduce the power of the MVP and make the fight more manageable.

Healing Wards
🐾 Healing wards around the map can be used to recover health and cleanse debuffs.
🐾 Tip: Utilize these areas strategically to ensure your party’s survival during tough phases.

Team Composition
🐾 Tanks should focus on drawing Bangungot's attention away from squishy damage dealers.
🐾 Healers need to stay mobile and be ready to remove debuffs like Sleep or Curse.
🐾 Damage Dealers should target Bangungot's Spirit whenever it appears to reduce incoming damage.

Positioning
🐾 Stay spread out to avoid Earthquake and AoE damage.
🐾 Keep an eye on healing wards for quick recovery during critical moments.

Consumables and Resistance
🐾 Bring items that resist Sleep and Curse debuffs.
🐾 Use Water Resistance Potions to mitigate damage from water-based attacks.

Quest Completion
🐾 After defeating Bangungot, players can exit the instance and talk to Doktor Bangungot to claim their rewards.
