Octopus Cave Instance Introduction

The Octopus Cave is a challenging instance designed for players level 140 or higher. It requires a party of 2 or more players and features various Water property monsters and boss fights.

Requirements

🐾 Base Level Requirement: Level 140 or higher.
🐾 Party Requirement: Must be in a party of 2 or more players.

🐾 Cooldown Information: Instances reset every 3 hours. Ensure you are not in cooldown to enter the instance.

Accessing the Instance

🐾 Use the Instance Warper: Navigate to Instances > Octopus Cave.
🐾 Talk to Naru at coordinates (oct_cave 150, 50) to start the instance.

Instance Setup

Initial Encounter
🐾 Upon entering, players will face waves of Water property monsters.
🐾 Tip: Bring water converters and prepare for combat against aggressive mobs.

Boss Mechanics

First Boss: Giant Octopus
🐾 The Giant Octopus will spawn after defeating a set number of monsters.

🐾 Ink Spray: Reduces visibility and can inflict blindness. Use items or skills that counter blindness.

Ink Pools
🐾 Ink Pools may appear on the ground throughout the instance. 🐾 Warning: These pools inflict HP drain if players stand in them. Always keep moving to avoid damage.

Mini-Bosses
🐾 After the Giant Octopus, mini-bosses may spawn. Defeat these to collect valuable loot.
🐾 Ensure your party is ready for quick encounters, as mini-bosses may drop rare items.

Final Boss Encounter

Final Boss: Octopus Queen
🐾 HP Scaling: The Queen's HP increases based on the number of party members.

Notable Skills:
🐾 Water Surge : A strong AoE attack that should be avoided.
🐾 Ink Shield : Temporarily increases her defenses; focus on dodging during this phase.
🐾 Summon Minions : Regularly spawns smaller octopus monsters. Eliminate them quickly to avoid being overwhelmed.
