Octopus Cave Instance Introduction

The Octopus Cave is a challenging instance designed for players level 140 or higher. It requires a party of 2 or more players and features various Water property monsters and boss fights.

Requirements

🐾 Base Level Requirement: Level 140 or higher.
🐾 Party Requirement: Must be in a party of 2 or more players.

🐾 Cooldown Information: Instances reset every 3 hours. Ensure you are not in cooldown to enter the instance.

Accessing the Instance

🐾 Use the Instance Warper: Navigate to Instances > Octopus Cave.
🐾 Talk to Naru at coordinates (oct_cave 150, 50) to start the instance.

Instance Setup

Initial Encounter
🐾 Upon entering, players will face waves of Water property monsters.
🐾 Tip: Bring water converters and prepare for combat against aggressive mobs.

Accessing Malangdo Dungeon

Preparation:
🐾 Ensure you have the Hunting Stick in your inventory.

Location:
🐾 Navigate to Malangdo Dungeon (it’s the first paw of the Malangdo Island Map located in the top left corner).

Inside Malangdo Dungeon
🐾 Once inside the dungeon, proceed to the following coordinates to continue your quest or instance:
🐾Coordinates: (Specify the exact coordinates you want to provide, e.g., (mal_in01 150, 70))

Important Notes:

  ● Be prepared for potential encounters with aggressive monsters in the dungeon.
  ● Ensure your party is ready for combat and have necessary supplies.

Boss Fight Preparation

🐾 After defeating the fourth Octopus Leg, you will be teleported back to the center of the Octopus Cave.

Preparation:

● Ensure you and your party members buff up and heal before proceeding.
● Make sure to use any necessary potions and skills to maximize your effectiveness in the upcoming fight.

Boss Room Encounter

Accessing the Boss Room:

🐾 Move through the north portal to enter the boss room.

Initial Encounter:
🐾 In the boss room, similar Water property mobs will spawn.
🐾 Objective: Eliminate the Giant Octopus located in the middle of the room to complete the instance.

Boss Mechanics

Watch Out For:
🐾 Waterball : A strong AoE attack. Recommended to use water resist potions and equip water resistance cards for maximum survival.

🐾 Storm Gust : This skill can freeze players in place. It’s advisable to have a Marc card equipped to counteract freezing effects.

Giant Octopus Stats

Strategies for Success

🐾 Team Coordination : Communicate with your team to ensure everyone is aware of the Giant Octopus's attacks.

Quest Completion

🐾 Exit the instance and return to Naru to claim your rewards.
